After growing up on the shores of the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I have always found myself drawn to the water. I have always had boats, loved fishing, spent weekends on the river with friends, and even raced sailboats with my dad. But the saying is true…. “you can shake the sand from your feet, but never from your soul”. I am forever a beach girl. Life will always try to throw obstacles in your way, but rainbows shine a light on the path in front of you. Throughout my years, I have always found an outlet and a sense of calm in having a knack for art and being crafty. I love adding my touch to décor, making things for friends, and so on. At one point I decided to go to nursing school and years later, after many life changes, my two sons and I decided to make our way to this amazing little beach town that we had fallen in love with the first time we visited in 2015.

Fast forward to the present, and I still pinch myself every day that I am so blessed to be a resident of Indian Rocks Beach. I am still a nurse, although at other times you’ll find me being crafty, fishing, or on the beach. I have found the most amazing love in a man who’s been my best friend for many, many years (who knew!) and together we get to watch the most incredible everchanging sunset in paradise every single evening. It just doesn’t get any better than this beach life in this wonderful little beach town that we are so very lucky to call home. Luckiest girl ever! We love it so much here that I started making Indian Rocks Beach (IRB) and beach-themed items. I hope you enjoy the little pieces of IRB that I have made to share with you.
